About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent (HC&T) team. This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day human resources support and guidance to colleagues, while assisting firm leadership on various people issues, including, but not limited to, optimising performance, employee relations, policy interpretation, and resource management. This role will be located in our Hong Kong office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to office leadership and colleagues by providing advice and guidance across all human resources topics, and implementing HC&T strategies
  • Championing colleague well-being and enabling a work environment that is equitable and offers fair treatment, transparency, inclusiveness, personal accountability, trust, and mutual respect
  • Managing people-related projects, programs, and processes to ensure compliance and completion
  • Supporting department leadership with performance optimisation efforts, including talent development and acquisition, resource management, and colleague training programs
  • Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions
  • Display the ability to work in a team environment with a best-in-class customer-service focus
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal


And have:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience advising, guiding, and supporting key stakeholders within a global matrixed organisation, preferably
  • Experience in coordinating and managing employee relations matters, preferably
